We split our meal , so they split it on two plates and we almost really got two or the price of one . We just got a piece and a half of fish and way too many tater tots and we had some coleslaw and they gave us each practically a full bowl of that . The food was very good . After the meal , we enjoyed another beer and looked around and talked beer signs . Someone made a mistake as we were visiting with the bartender and it opened me up another grain belt so I got a freebie . Hopefully they can get their distributor to drop off some new Grain Belt signs that will help promote the brand . I highly recommend this place if you ’ re ever in Des Moines . Saturday afternoon , the shopping spree continued , and we headed to West Des Moines . The girls wanted to go into Jordan Creek mall . We went in with them and let them get started . They said you guys can go find something to do again . So we looked up a couple of bars nearby . Jordan Creek is an upscale , more recent developed area in Des Moines and the odds of finding anything really dive bar like are fairly slim , but we ventured out to see what ’ s around . The first place we stopped was a chain place called Bar Louis .
