Receives Prestigious Award Goodooga Artesian Spring
Brewarrina Shire Council has received a prestigious highly commended award from the Local Government Professionals in 2020 for the Goodooga Great Artesian Bore Baths but was unable to accept the award due to cancelation of the award event until this year ’ s award celebrations . Pictured is the General manager Jeff Sowiak with the award . Goodooga Artesian Spring / Mineral Bath was funded under Drought Communities project in 2017 and was completed in 2019 . Brewarrina Shire Council approved this project to provide a new facility for community and attract tourism to the region . Brewarrina Shire Council has continued to build on this facility adding electric BBQ , Dump point , and hybrid gym equipment . Visitors are lingering longer at our wonderful Outback facilities .
