Cold-Blooded Weekend
September 2–4; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
D id you know that cane toads have toxic skin? Or that the diamondback terrapin can
breathe out of its butt? Meet these extraordinary ectotherms and other scaly, slimy superheroes at this year’s
Cold-Blooded Weekend event! As always, you’ll have the chance to feed stingrays, cheer for your favorite tortoise in a
nail-biting reptile race and chow down on invertebrates at the Bug Buffet! All activities are included with Zoo admission.
