KEVIN’S KORNER Umehara Daigo Brendan Shea photographing for MadCatz Banana Brendan© In an upsetting defeat to his all time rival, Umehara Daigo Brendan Shea has decided to leave the fighting game scene and move on to game development. With Banana Brendan© having lost their only player; interest in Banana Brendan© plushies has declined drastically. We interviewed Brendan in regards to his lost and future endevours. He told reports that “Alan had morning wood too. I just couldn’t beat him. Additionally, when I asked my sponsors to get me a bucket of coffee, all I got was a large. Why would a place call their large a bucket when it is just a normal large. In any case, I plan to pursue a life in game development. It was always my dream to be able to mash x x x and y y y against one million troops and be sucked. A Frogger remake has also been a dream of mine. With the simplicity of Frogger, I felt that it needed some spicing up and with current technology, it is definitely time for a reboot.” At this time, Brendan’s whereabouts are unknown. Some say he went on a spiritual journey to Japan to one-day return to beat Alan, training under a waterfall practicing his shoryu’s and his hado’s while blindfolded and wearing weights. Other reports states that he went on to develop his own game studio and bought out Banana Brendan©; taking the name of Shea Studios with Banana Brendan©’s classic plushie as their mascot character. Whatever the case may be, we hope that one-day, Brendan will come back to the world with new innovations. Whether it be through his game or through his play, we wish him the best of luck.
