Dear Breaking “News”,
First, I would like to say that I love the magazine. I myself am a World War II fanatic and love to learn about all the ends and outs of the war. The article “Hitler and Propaganda” in the last issue is one of the reasons I enjoy this magazine so much. The article gave me a new perspective on Hitler and his motives.
Before I read the article, I viewed Hitler as a dictator that enjoyed his job too much. He was someone that enjoyed killing and had no method to his madness, but the article made me see different. From reading, I have learned that he was trying to create a more perfect world. He believed that to do this he had to kill millions of Jews, and he used propaganda to get all of Germany on his side.
I now see he was truly a remarkable man. Although millions of people despise him, I believe, like you, that he deserves respect. I for one could not have been as cunning and despicable as he. He got away with genocide, while the whole world was clueless and at war. Only towards the end did he get caught in his web of lies.
Again, I would like to say how much I love the magazine. I would also like to thank you for broadening my viewpoint on Hitler.
