You can't change who you
are, but you can change
what you have in your
head.
You can refresh what you are thinking
about, you can put some fresh air in
your brain.

Temporal lobe
Do you remember the places that you
have traveled to pretty clearly? It is
probably due to the help of the temporal
lobe. It helps you to process visual and
verbal memories, to recognize and
interpret the meaning the objects or
image. Of course, for vision to be useful,
you must also understand what it is you
are seeing. The temporal lobe aids in the
process of understanding the sights you
take in every day. Besides that, the
temporal lobe aids in the production of
speech, recognition of a language and
understanding the meaning of the
language. If this part of the brain has
certain level of dysfunction, it can lead to
difficulties in speaking and speech
recognition.
the objects and recognizes colours. For
example, when you recognize a moving
object or find a colourful poster attracts
you, your occipital lobe must be working
hard to provide you the recognition. If
this part of the brain is injured, visual
problems including inability to recognize
colour, having hallucinations or illusions,
difficulty in recognizing objects and
language might be present.
After understanding the importance of
each part of our brain, are you already
more than just feeling blessed for the
perfect coordination that is happening in
your brain? Having such a delicate organ
to be the big boss of our body, it is more
than just a blessing. Hence, by knowing
more about this big boss, we should take
care of this big boss more carefully to
ensure our own health and well-being. 2, 3
Occipital lobe
The smallest of the four brain lobes,
located near to the back of the skull. The
occipital lobe’s major role is to process
the things that we see, the information
that we received from the eye. It also
includes the function of processing
image and space or perceiving things in
3-dimension. This part of the brain also
helps us to perceive the movements of
