if they believed the problem will ever be fully gone from the sport of boxing:

@frijjboy: If judges can’t do their job they’re supposed to then the sport’s always gonna be in trouble. Not sure of solution.

@boxingbill4: I think corrupt is a strong word. It’s incompetence as opposed to anything sinister in my opinion.

@BW3007: No. It’s down to human error, can’t really stop that. Like to see more reverse decisions. Rematches etc.

@AndreWardUKFans: Bad decisions are part of any sport. Sure there’s things we can do but the potential for human error is always there.

BO’s Response: I agree with all of you on this one… I really can’t see the problem ever fully going away either. There are definitely ways to make it a little better but like you said, we are never going to get rid of things like genuine human error.

Reverse decisions and immediate rematches are definitely the way forward. It gives both fighters the chance to prove that they were the ones who deserved to win the fight and after a robbery or bad decision it immediately becomes a fight that the fans would like to see again in fair conditions.

Will the problem ever go away? We just can’t be sure. As you can see from the tweets, some people do genuinely believe that there isn’t much corruption and the bad decisions are usually down to just simple human error. If this is the case then there’s nothing we can do about it except for organising rematches. Thankfully the problem is shrinking and it’s clear that it really isn’t as bad as it once was.
