Other highlights of the weekend for Surat included the
opening renowned artist Kathy Ellem’s exhibition ‘Beauty
and Brawn’ which is showing until October 6 at Surat on
Balonne Gallery. The opening of ‘The Drovers’ Story’
Exhibition at the Cobb & Co Museum was also very
popular. So to was author Sam Everingham’s
presentation on his book, ‘Wild Ride’ that delved into the
real origins of the Cobb & Co Company and its founders.
