Surat Shutterbugs Four members from the Surat Shutterbugs Group travelled to Brisbane to attend the Photographic Society of Queensland Convention held over the May long weekend. Beginning on the Friday evening with a meet & greet sausage sizzle followed by Painting with Light on Pandanus Beach. Very Visual and creative! Saturday & Sunday consisted of some 1. interesting key note speakers interspersed with different workshops. The Judges forum was particularly interesting, this involved four PSQ judges giving their critique of several images. It was amazing to hear the different interpretation given by each person, proving it is all in the eye of the beholder. Monday morning concluded with a very humorous presentation by Prof Des Crawley Developing Creativity at Club Level. A very enjoyable weekend for all!
