Free Mangos for Maranoa There was excitement in the Maranoa when Michael Read and Angus Murchison from Rainbow Beach Drought 3. Runners pulled into the towns in the Maranoa with a trailer loaded with mangos. The picking boxes were so full and heavy that tractors with forks and forklifts were needed to get them off the trailer. Rainbow Beach Drought Runners travelled to the Maranoa to deliver free Mangos to Yuleba, Wallumbilla, Roma, Mitchell and Mungallala. Brian Burton, orchard owner of Lake Barra donated the mangos from his farm on the coast and the Drought Runners picked, packed and transported 5. them to the Maranoa.
