Wallaroo Outback Retreat formed the
backdrop for an Arts as Exchange workshop
on October 28 to 30, hosted by the
Queensland Art Gallery
regional touring program.
Special guest and artist in
residence was Dale Harding,
an indigenous artist from the
Carnarvon area whose artwork
includes wall murals and
sculptures. The aim of the
workshop was to connect local
communities, artists, educators
and galleries and involved the
towns of Injune, Taroom,
Emerald, Warabinda, Biloela
and Moura. Vernessa Fien and
