The Stretch is all about doing what is necessary to prepare for what is to come. Stretching, which could also be called prepping, is essential to experiencing achievement in anything that one does, especially

business. This is the reason we write business plans and projections. This is why we consult with business consultants and surround ourselves with like-minded individuals. By now, you may have realized that the type of stretching required will vary from person to person, and is determined by visualizing your desired results. Could you imagine if a chef did not prep before cooking? What if a writer avoided research? What if Floyd Mayweather didn’t train? Conceptualize Barack Obama not rehearsing his speeches. Can you envision what the end result would be? When we consistently immerse ourselves in a period of stretching, we allow ourselves to avoid or minimize some of the mishaps associated with conducting business. As a result of Apostle’s message, I immediately began to stretch. I created new thoughts for the purposes of better mental control. I had to realize that my work could not be contained within an eight-hour shift.

"When we consistently immerse ourselves in a period of stretching, we allow ourselves to avoid or minimize some of the mishaps associated with conducting business."

I developed greater flexibility, which entailed me working harder than I had ever worked before. I dreamt and worked simultaneously. I expanded my vision. Being an event emcee is my passion, but Power Never Underrated, LLC had to expand. So we began to provide voice-over services, spokesperson work, event production assistance, marketing services, and so much more. I embraced the therapy involved in warming up and cooling down moments. Artists like Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and of course Beyoncé were great for getting my warm up going. I walked into every situation going “H.A.M.”,

standing “6 Foot 7 Foot”, “Feeling Myself” leaving ‘em “Wanting Some More” and knowing that they “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” cuz I’m a “Survivor”! I wholeheartedly endorse artists like Yolanda Adams, Lauren

Hill, Jonathan Nelson, Tasha Cobbs and Tamela Mann for those cool down moments when we all need to be reminded that this “Battle’s Not Yours” that “His Eye is on the Sparrow, “How Great is Our God!” that

“Every Chain Can Be Broken” and just “Take Me To The King!”
