Customer Service First:

When your partner refers someone to you, they are putting their reputation and good name on the line. So it is incredibly important that you give them the VIP treatment and remain ultra aware of the level of customer service you are offering to those referred to you.

Consider the following:

What can I offer my new clients/customers who are referred by my partners? (Can be special pricing, upgrades, special thank yous,etc.)

Say Thank You:

Far too often we forget all about taking care of the person who referred business to us. It doesn't have to be in terms of commission although it's nice. But a handwritten card, a discounted service, or our favorite... referring someone to their business can help your partners feel appreciated and valued.
