REPORT Top 8 Movies to Watch on Eid-ul-Azha 2016 P akistani cinema is consistently churning out movies and it will be no different around this Eid-ulAzha too. The upcoming movie trailers appear promising when it comes to the content of the locally produced films. These movies are truly worth watching. We have compiled a list of 8 movies that are a mustwatch this Eid-ul-Azha. Check out them out here. 1. JANAAN Janaan is a beautiful story set against the backdrop of Northern areas, showcasing the Pakhtoon people, their culture, and festivities. This movie also aims to break stereotypes surrounding Pakhtoons. Fittingly, the cast includes Armeena Rana Khan, Ali Rehman, and Bilal Ashraf. The movie has been jointly produced by Reham Khan, Munir Hussain,Hareem Farooq and Imran Raza Kazmi. The leading trio, are the sons and daughter of three brothers who are settled in Canada and Pakistan. The story kicks off when all of them converge with their children to attend an elaborate and festive family wedding and things get a little rough. The romantic comedy is slated to release September 13th 2016. 2. ZINDAGI KITNI HASEEN HAI The dynamic duo Sajal Aly and Feroze Khan will be rekindling romance on the silver screen after being lauded for their strong on-screen chemistry in the drama serial Gul-e-Rana. The movie is not your average, loveydovey romance and the director, Anjum Shahzad has made sure that the trailer tells a different story. The trailer shows two young people, falling for each other and getting married early but tragedy strikes and things apparently take a turn for the worse – as they say ‘it’s not always as it appears to be’ comes to mind. ZKHH is also set to release this Eid-ul-Azha, giving tough compeition to Janaan and Actor in Law: 3. ACTOR-IN-LAW Labeled as a social comedy by the film’s director Nabeel Qureshi, the plot introduces us to an aspiring actor who actually is a lawyer by profession and cannot pursue his dreams since his father does not approve of his intense interest in dramatics.
