Reeta De Souza, make-up expert, shares some hacks to prevent sweat patches on your clothes: Protect with sweat pads You can steer clear of embarrassing sweat stains by affixing a sweat pad to the area of the shirt under your arm on each side. The pad will soak up the sweat and keep your skin dry. Switch to an antiperspirant Deodorant does nothing to stop the increase of sweat marks on clothes. Try antiperspirants instead, as these will go a long way in keeping you dry on the area. Go for talcum powder It will absorb the sweat better before it soaks your clothes. Additionally, it acts as an astringent, meaning that it causes your pores to hamper, which may help with sweating. Try to clean your armpit with utmost care regularly while bathing in morning. It will keep the sweat from accumulating in your armpits by washing away all the bacteria. If you clean that area regularly, it also helps in avoiding unpleasant smell and, of course, protects from sweat stains. Clean it with wipes Be it wet or dry wipes, both works well to control the sweat. They are easy to carry in the bag and whensoever you get time to go to the washroom just wipe off your underarms at regular intervals. It keeps you fresh and you will surely be able to breathe easier since now you are sweat-free. Summer eye care T ired eyes can completely ruin your look. Use good sunglasses Just as we use sunscreen to keep the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays from harming our skin, UV treatment in eyeglass lenses block those same rays from damaging our eyes. Over exposure to UV light is thought to be a cause of cataracts, retinal damage and other eye problems. For summer, the ideal sunglasses are those with a wrap around frame. It keeps the sun and the dust out. Typically, the UV light tends to reflect off water and snow. If you are planning on water sports this summer, be sure to use a good pair of sunglasses. After a day of exposure to the sun, redness can occur in unprotected eyes, and in eyes which are prone to problems, the cornea may even get injured. Protective clear glasses Outdoor activities like camping have become common. However, in practising camping activities like chopping wood or cooking around a campfire, be sure to use clear protective glasses. All too often, flying embers in stiff wind can lead to severe eye burns, which can easily be avoided. Outdoor sports' like bicycling and dirt bike riding are activities where the eyes are likely to be hit by flying debris.
