Who are your favorite authors, and how do they inspire & influence your work?
William Shakespeare, Stephenie Meyer, Veronica Rossi, Lorin Oberweger, Sylvia Day, Christina Lauren( Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings), John Green... there ' s a lot. I love different genres, too, depending on the story. Although I would have to say, I love the combination of smart and witty when it comes to romance... add a little suspense and mystery, and that ' s definitely going on my TBR list. These authors have influenced me in the most positive way. Sometimes when I ' m not convinced by the way they flip situations, I would make my own. So basically, they challenge me.

What do you feel was the hardest part of writing and how do you deal with it?
I don’ t just want readers to view my characters as characters. I want the m to be known as people who are very much alive. When I was writing Beautifully Burned, I knew I didn’ t just want to progress with Thia or Mason, it had to be the both of them. Usually, when I feel like my mind is out of sync, I take a break and listen to songs that are very much related to where I paused the story, or travel to places to look for inspiration.
