Passion is not something you can get away with. It started as a hobby. When I was in high school, I would make quotes about random things during discussions and lectures. Some of my friends would say, " You should write a book." I only smiled at the time. I had no plans of writing a story. But as soon as my perception changed, so did other things. After my internship in New York, I found my old notebook sitting at home and started to scan the pages, only to find what I wrote way back then. I had no idea those words would turn into something more. It’ s kind of crazy, but once I started writing, it was as if pieces of my working plot formed connections and words found where they truly belonged. Your passion evidently defines your purpose, and that ' s how you make a difference.

I tried to write outdoors before, but it never truly worked. Turns out my room is the best place to do it. I collect ideas during the day, and write when night time hits.

I love listening to music, or simply the sound of pouring rain. Give me Debussy or Pachelbel... and of course, green tea with lemon.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to be a writer?
The only way to overcome fear is to have the courage to fight it. Writing, as engrossing as it can be, is also dangerous, but always effective. Expect that not everyone will like your story. It’ s your call to use that as a form of constructive criticism. Don’ t compare yourself to other writers, but hone your skills in accordance of your perspective.
