"12 Again"
"12 Again" authored by Sue Corbett, contains 227 pages. The book was published in the year 2002 by Dutton Childrens Books. The book's price is $16.99. I looked at the cover and it seemed surprising, because it shows a boy looking at something and then right beneath that it shows some e-mails that the boy sent to his mother. The back of the book caught my attention also, as it has a description of the book that sort of gives a sneak peak, and also gives two opinions of people who have read the book.
Patrick and Bernadette are the main characters in the book. Patrick is tired that he always has to take care of his little brothers, and the mother, Bernadette, is tired of having to work too much. Bernadette's mother died two years ago. After having an argument with her husband, Bernadette went to her mothers house to remember old times. While at the house Bernadette drank a magic potion and she turned 12 again.
This book is understandable and clear on describing characters, settings, plots, and all the work the characters did. In my opinion I think that this book shows that you have to enoy life and be grateful for what you have. I really enjoyed the part when Patrick had to take care of his brothers because it really shows how good of a brother he was. The least I enjoyed was that the family had to separate because families are meant to be together. In conclusion, I think this book is a great example of a life lesson. I would really recommend this book to people who love reading books that show a little life lesson.
