Tanning beds are bad for you Tanning beds are no safer than tanning in the sun. The Melanoma Research Foundation said that, “Numerous individual studies, including an analysis of several studies combined, have consistently shown that indoor tanning increases the risk of developing all forms of skin cancer, including melanoma.” The Foundation has also warned that using tanning beds before the age of 30 years could increases your chance of being diagnosed with skin cancer increase by 75%. Don’t brush after eating After consuming acidic foods like citrus fruits, sports’ drinks or soda do not brush your teeth right away because it can soften the tooth enamel. According to the Academy of General Dentistry, brushing teeth immediately will boost the acid’s effect on your enamel and destroy the layer underneath. So, wait for 30 to 60 minutes before brushing your teeth. Consider coffee for a better nap In a Japanese study, people who take a coffee nap are more active and perform better on computer tests than those who only took a nap or took coffee alone. A coffee nap is taking about 200 milligrams of caffeine or the equivalent of 2 cups before taking a nap.
