Skipping lunch is never a good idea, and can even be dangerous, without food, you get agitated, shaky, irritable, and you lose focus. And multiple studies have shown that people who take a short break accomplish more than those who work for four or more hours straight. And last of all, taking purposeful lunch breaks away from work or class contributes to overall health. In addition, working straight through breaks increases stress, which can lead to smoking, obesity, even substance abuse.

Young people who are in their twenties are at a crucial stage in lives. Especially, when society is making unreasonable demands to them and for them to be at their best, Universities should oblige to make sure that their students are healthy enough by making regular lunch breaks.
