Who are some of your personal heroes and why?
Kyrie Irving and Tamika Catchings are two of my personal heroes! Kyrie because
he’s a great player who won an NBA championship and is on the cover of 2K18!
One of my goals is to be on the cover of an NBA themed video game & win champi-
onships someday too!
And of course my aunt Tamika is my personal hero because she’s someone close to
me that has accomplished so much throughout her basketball career. She’s also my
hero because of all of the great things she does to encourage young people like me
to set goals & reach for the stars. She also works harder than anyone I’ve ever met
and always puts God & family first.
What act ivit ies do you enjoy in your spare t ime?
I like playing outside with friends, playing my Xbox One and playing basketball. I
also enjoy drawing silly comics and reading sports themed & Diary of a Wimpy kid
books!
I f you could do anyt hing you wanted right now what
would it be?
Spend time with my cousins in Chicago!!
What have you found to be t he mos t challenging t hing t his
school year?
Showing up to my classes with the right supplies & books! Transitioning to middle
school has been challenging because I struggle with organization! I earned a de-
tention during my first month of school for having 6 missing assignments. The crazy
thing is, that most of the assignments were completed, but I just forgot to bring
them to class & turn them in.
