Faith Diggs was a Journalism Major at Columbia College in Chicago. She quickly came to realize that her love was creative writing and that she was not pursuing her passion. So, in 1999 she decided to commit to her passion.

She has been a storyteller since she was a child and she discovered that she had lots of things to say, especially to the church. Her grandmother was a pastor and she grew up in the church. The first play she wrote and brought to the stage was, Where Are You God?

Not only did she write the play, she also wrote and recorded the soundtrack for the play. One of the songs, Pastor’s Wife was played on the local radio station and the audience responded to the message in the music.

While Faith’s daughter was attending school, one of the requirements was that parents had to participate. So, she started writing poetry and songs for the children to perform. One of the Teachers was moved by the performances and recommended that Faith join the Board of Education in instructing other children in Poetry.
