Summer Reads

Summer is the time of vacations, spending time with family and also catching up on our reading.
If you have been with us for a while, you may remember that I am a voracious reader. This is so much so that I have books in my library that I have read more than once. I also carry a book/magazine with me most of the time along with an ebook on my phone from the local library .
Once I packed a box of my favorites to ship to China where a friend and his family were serving as missionaries. I found out that their daughter loved to read and decided to sow these books into her life.
You should have seen me, checking and double checking because I did not want to part with any of these books. My Mom, who happened to be visiting, asked me how many times I had read the books and this caused me to pause.
Of course I have been over them several times and of course this young lady would enjoy them, so I happily sealed the box and sent it on its way.
