If you had the opportunity to make a flyer for FreakNik, what would it look like? Aww man! My FREAKNIK flyer would be way too ignorant. Simply because I know what will get the people out. I’m drawing mad speakers stacked on top each of other with women twerking on it in the high-waisted 90s bikinis, Black dudes with boardshorts with bald heads and ankh necklaces and old-school South Beach “Car- go-boom” Mini-trucks. All of that would be surfing on the golden brown waters of tipped over 40oz. Yeah...that sounds about right. What really drives you to keep going in life in general? Besides designing, you and other creatives have a podcast called “The Black Seinfelds”, tell us more about it. That’s purely a passion project built for me and my main man, Micah Smith aka Marty McNasty, to wax ignorantly poetic about what ever comes to mind. Both of us are very ardent Seinfeld fans, so we decided to create a podcast that mimics that ‘nothing’ appeal. It’s really our way of talking shit about...nothing. Once I found out that everything in life is man-made (things, successes, problems, lakes, etc.), it drove me to treat my world as a never-ending art project. My life needs to be my greatest creation at the end of it all and each day is another stroke at this here canvas. Currently, the one that is in constant mental rotation is by Yung Nappy aka Napoleon Hill... “Failures focus on the hole in the donut. While successful people, see the hole but recognize the entire donut.” Wise words my friends. Wise Words.
