BNG MAG® July 2016 (Vol.-2/Iss.-3) | Page 7

AGE: 25 COMIN’ FROM: DETROIT. MI ACTIVE: 20011-PRESENT Favorite flyer you’ve done so far? Hmm... Right now it’s a neck and neck tie between the flyer I did for the Good-Ass Intro (shouts out to you K) and the one I illustrated for SUMTHIN ATL pt.3. Favorite article of clothing you’ve done so far: I’m still hella partial to the “Two-Tone Jones Be-Good” Hats that I did 3 years ago. The design process that went into that series, still inspires me and remains timeless for others. Shoot, the baseball/dad cap JUST got popular and I’ve been rocking those silhouettes since 2011. Dream graphic collaboration? My answer to this will always be Ghostface Killah. Being that he’s in my top four artists of all time (John Lennon, Prince, Kanye, Ghostface), he’s definitely gotta be my dream collab. The mystical wordplay easily gets my own pen excited. Main influences? I’ll do a short Tyler, the Creator “Outro” type influence list:. College Dropout. Complex Mag. FUBU. The Hundreds. Barry Sanders. Hype beast. Lupe. Keith Haring. Ronin Warriors. Pokemon. Pulp Fiction. Bugs Bunny. Legos. Adidas. Wieden + Kennedy’s Nike Ads. Atlanta. Knuck if You Buck. Neva Eva. Napoleon Hill. Revolver. Benjamin Button. MySpace Hunting. Wikipedia. Case Closed. Nike Dunks. Kanye West. Charles Bukowski. Gameboy Color. Gil Scott. Maestro Knows. Madbury Club. So Mé.
