Welcome To The RSC by Chairman John O’Sullivan Hello everyone, and welcome to the RSC for tonight’s SSE Airtricity League tie with league leaders Shelbourne. I’d like to extend a warm Waterford welcome to Joe Casey and the officials, players, staff and supporters of Shelbourne. Tonight’s match is sponsored by Perennial Freight, and on behalf of everyone at the club a huge thank you from me to Chris Smyth and all at Perennial Freight for their generous support, very much appreciated! A big thank you also to Neil and Isobel Whittle of InFish in Fethard-on-Sea, who I’m delighted have come on board as our ball sponsors tonight. Such involvement from the local business community is absolutely vital to help us keep going, and all at the club are hugely appreciative of the support. It would be remiss of me not to mention the atmosphere in Block E this year. The noise and colour and support has been unbelievable all season, and should be acknowledged. In fact, home and away the fans have been incredible in their support and dedication. We might not thank you enough, but it is very much appreciated. We share your frustrations, but we are working to remedy it quickly. On that note, I must highlight again our big fundraising drive running at present, the superb draw for tickets, flights and accomodation to a Barcelona match at the Nou Camp during the next La Liga season. Ticketsare priced at just €8, or three for €20, and are on sale at the club shop tonight, the club office during weekdays, or from any of the MC or the Blues Supporters Club board. We are also asking everyone here tonight, and as many fans of the club as we can, to please take some tickets From me personally, and on behalf for the Barcelona draw away with of everyone here, a very big thank them, at least five – maybe ten if Many thanks to Neil and Isobel you to all our supporters for their Whittle of InFish Ltd, Fethard-on-Sea, they can manage it, and sell them tonight’s ball sponsors! understanding and patience with on on our behalf, spreading the the events of the past days.
