The Manager’sManager Tommy Griffin Comments with First Team It was great for all the travelling fans that we got a positive result last Friday at Wexford Youths. I thought we deserved to take all three points as we did control much of the game. Without doubt their sending off was a turning point, although we were one up at that stage and looking the stronger side, but it did shape the second half as we very quickly made the most of our numerical advantage, and early in the second half hit the Youths for two more goals. Wexford Youths to their credit never gave up, but it was nice to for us to come out on top in what has become a very competitive Southeast Derby. One of the pleasing aspects was although we did not create as many chances as we did against Shels, of those we did make we managed to score from three of them. Tonight we welcome Tony and the Longford Town players and staff to the RSC. I find Tony to be a very honest and hard working manager who has his team playing a good brand of football. So tonight should be a very good game, one that we will look to dominate right from the start. If we can play a quick passing game, and be even more i
