Tip #4
Don't waste materials on a house just yet. Go for the Hobbit Hole. Hobbit Holes are quite fun and can be decorated as much and as little as you want. Not to mention, they are easier to expand than let's say a house. If you're already underground, you can save your resources much faster and get that Dream House or Temple built that you really want to build.
Tip #5
Plant a Potato Farm. On a server, often times, you're going to be limited to how many animals you can have in any given area. Some of the newer servers, have animal culling plugins. If there are too many animals in an area, they can automatically cull them. For sustainable food, you're better off with Potatoes. They give you 3 hunger points and you can plant as much as you want. You can even make multiple levels of it in a Tower Farm.
Tip #6
Be Mature. This one should be a given. I'm sure we've all played on a server where some kid came on and was all talking trash. Yeah, we've dealt with those types too. They like to tell you to shut up for no apparent reason. Even when you're trying to help them understand how things work. That's a sure sign of your age. That's “Childish.” If you want to survive on a server, don't be Childish.
Tip #7
Don't Grief. This is another given. It is often done by the younger generation. For some reason, they think that it's absolutely hilarious to go around, steal stuff, break stuff, and destroy what others have worked so long on. Obviously these players have never had anything they've worked on destroyed. If so, it was not a Massive Build.
