Block Craze Issue 01 January 2015 | Page 27

Block Craze later asked him on his inspiration to create such a magnificent machine. He says “The inspiration for the project was really just from wondering what I could make with Redstone only, no command blocks, hoppers, droppers and etc, and a mixer like this was something I always wanted to make in Minecraft, but never had the time to, or skills.” On his Minecraft Forum’s post he publicises the fact that the device can be used in the new 1.8 update and the majority of updates prior to it. A favourite and famous Minecraft YouTuber of his gave him the idea to develop a grand machine with a unique concept of the ability of being able to be used in the earlier updates as well as the more up to date ones. “Some of the builds features were inspired by FVDisco’s “Minecraft 5 Channel Music Sequencer”, such as the ability to turn tracks on or off. In a nutshell though, this was really my attempt at modernising an old build and seeing what I could do to improve it.”

Let’s hope that the build will stay in full working order for updates to come, in one final sum up from ccde.

“This was my attempt at it and I am pretty proud of it.”
