upcoming rapper/songwriter/vocalist from Durban; she
has performed alongside artists like professor, Dream
Team and Dj Tira.
What's the one thing you would
like your fans to know about
Nelz?
Hmmmm...first I'd like to thank my fans for
the continuous support. One thing they
must know is... Oh yes i love food! So if
they happen to see me stuffing my
face,they shouldn't be shocked.. its OK lol.
You released a radio EP tell us
about it?
just released my radio EP on
soundcloud...but that's an idea hey! Maybe
I'll just release it officially with an
audiovisual pack aswell...
Tell us about The Hustle
competition?
The Competition taught me a whole lot
about the music business. It was a very
great experience that i wish every up and
coming artist could go through. Having so
many influential people in the game sharing
their experiences and offering advices was
very humbling.
What did you learn from it?
I learnt that it's important to have a team
that is as HUNGRY as you are!
Great work on 'Drink Don`t trip'
video ft Inseezy, what inspired
it?
Thank you...I just wanted to do a hot club
tune with Inseezy that everyone could jam
to, and I hit up 'Loyalty ' who produced the
sick beat and when I sent it to Inseezy he
was feeling it so we made it happen. It's a
timeless banger, we released it last year but
its still getting so much love.
Who produces your music?
I work with a lot of producers because I
love having a lot of creative hands on my
projects. But I work very closely with the
'Loyalty' producer Ndu and Magudu's very
own Dumisani
How would you describe your
music?
Vibey, i make music that you can vibe to...
Raps And Melodies is what Nelz is known
for.
Are you signed to any record
label?
I am currently working with Magudu Music
The Hip-hop game is a bit
