The mission of Outdoor Women Unlimited is
dedicated to providing women and families
with the education and the excitement of
the outdoor experience through teaching
outdoor life skills, sharing the knowledge
of our natural resources while building self
esteem, strengthening individual character
and promoting self reliance in a safe and
professional environment. OWU, a 501C3
nonprofit organization, celebrates ten years
in the outdoor education industry.
The commitment, dedication and passion
of hundreds of volunteers, sponsors and
members across the USA have formed a
strong foundation of diverse field training in
outdoor education. Fundraising, supported
by donors, events and grants have fueled our
vision. We continue to expand our unique
design in outdoor adventure by educating
women in outdoor skills, preservation and
conservation of our natural resources. OWU
No Limits Certification program, BLAZE
(OWU magazine), NRA Certification training
program (Small Arms Training Consultants),
Hunter Certification and other training
programs, offer a diverse selection of
outdoor activities.
We have been blessed to have a dedicated
team of leaders in the field of creative
event design. Their talents have continued
to share innovative ideas with a unique
presence of style. How do we do it?
Listening to our members and never lose
sight of our mission. Outdoor education
training in a safe field environment while
building confidence and
self-reliance
results in another consumer in the outdoor
industry-making a difference-one at a time.
A woman who loves the sport, understands
her tools and how to use, is a loyal consumer
and supporter for a lifetime.
