BRSA Awards
Every season, managers will be awarded BRASAs for outstanding performances and service to BRSA, 10 awards will be handed out every season (one award being shared)
Nominations will open in Round 14 Day 1, and run until Round 15 Day 7. Any member of BRSA may nominate managers for each award. A panel of judges will then pick the top 3 in each category, which will then be handed back to the BRSA community to vote, from Round 16 Day 4 until Round 1 Day 5 of the following season, with trophies awarded by Round 2 Day 1
The categories are:
King of the Hill:
A BRASA for the best manager of the season, across all divisions, and including U20 and NT
Up-and-Coming Award: A BRASA for the best lower division manager of the season, Div III-V only
The Not-a-Noob Award: This BRASA will be awarded to a new manager, 2 full seasons played or less, who has shown exceptional promise
Young Guns Award: BRASA for the best juniors in BRSA, be it team performance, strong pulls or any other achievement
Proudly South African Award: A South African NT/U20 trainer who has set themselves apart in the training of their player/s
Tastes Like Biltong Award: Awarded to a foreign manager who has shown a secret love for Biltong, Braaivleis and the Boks by going above and beyond in training an U20/NT player for South Africa
Clubroom King: Awarded to the manager you can always count on for advice, ideas, jokes and more when clicking on the clubroom button
Day and Night Award: The most dedicated manager in BRSA. For any contribution to the community, running comps, scouting for NT, etc.
Who's BRASA is it Anyway: For anything that had the BRSA community in stitches, the funnier the better!
Saturday Night Main Event: For the best game of the season, league, cup, friendly or NT. BRASA will be awarded to both managers who took part in the chosen game
Lifetime Achievement: Awarded to a manager who's glories, honors and duties span much more than just a single season, who has made themselves an unmissable part of the BRSA community, a vital cog on our rugby machine! This award recipient will be chosen only by the 5 judges, no nominations or voting.
After a successful first run in S18, the BRASAs are back again to award the BRSA community for their efforts and achievements
This season the nominations will run until the very end of the season, so that no accomplishment may miss out on being nominated.
