Q. What are your thoughts about Black Culture and Fitness? Q. What advice would you give those women looking for getting a hot physique? AB: Man, We need to remain conscious of our health. We are more prone to chronic preventable disease. We into that good eating, you know we are addicted to that salt and sugar which leads to hypertension and diabetes. Right now having a fit physique is trending in our community especially with women but it’s for all the wrong reason and most are going about getting the physique the wrong way. Q. Can you elaborate more on that? AB: Patience! First find your niche, getting fit should be something that you want to do and have fun doing it. You don’t need a gym membership to exercise. You can find different ways to workout; try Pole Dancing, Zumba or Yoga. Yoga is a great exercise, even though people associated it with only stretching. Find a nutritionist or research a good meal plan. Food prepping is real; get into it. For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction. So what ever you’re doing; what ever you’re eating your body is reacting. AB: I mean, a lot of women are turning to plastic surgery to get the body of someone that works out daily and eats healthy. They are looking to have a bigger butt and a smaller waist because that’s what hot right now but that’s not really healthy. You can get those thing a simpler and healthier way.
