MAY Sweeps Mock Trial Invitational

Ateres Yaakov hosted a Mock Trial
Invitational on Sunday, November
16th to help the local yeshivas prepare for the countywide Mock Trial tournament that starts in February. The MAY Mock Trial
team swept the first round
series 2-0, defeating Rambam and DRS. They then
defeated Rambam in the

organized by Mr.

Kirschner
Esq., the coach of
MAY’s team, affectionately known to
his
students
as
“Coach K”. Coach
Kirschner is an Assistant to a local
Judge and also is a
Law Professor for
Touro College. Three local lawyers
acted as judges and presided over
the mock trial competitions.
