The Ateres Yaakov Star

To our readers, it is the final, spectacular result that is impressive, but for the staff of the
Ateres Yaakov Star, it’s the unspectacular work that leads up to
the final production that makes all
the difference. This year, when
we decided to make the Star a
monthly publication, we knew the
work it would take. Little did we
know how much every single staff
member would step up to embrace the challenge, and, as a
result, this second issue is a tribute to their efforts.
We would like to thank
Rabbi Yaffe, Rabbi Bennett, and
Rabbi Rudansky for allowing us to
produce this monthly paper and
for the support and assistance
they have given us along the
way. In addition, a tremendous
thank you to Mr. Homnick, who is
not only our great English teacher, but is also the paper’s faculty
advisor who stays on top of the
deadlines and puts in an immense
amount of effort to ensure the
paper is as professional and polished as possible.

Also, a big thank you to
Binyamin Korn, our incredibly talented graphic designer who has
put hours of his own time into
making the paper as aesthetically
pleasing as possible. It’s truly a
beautiful paper because of his
persistence and tenacity in making every layout from scratch to
perfection. Most important
though, our student writers have
been incredibly diligent in their
assignments, turning articles in on
time to our spectacular team of
editors.
Additionally, this paper is
brought to you in color thanks to
all the hours spent by the members of the marketing team in
bringing in ads to support our
school paper.
To anyone else who has
contributed or who we may have
forgotten, thank you! We look
forward to bringing you amazing
news stories, editorials, and features of happenings in Yeshiva
and around the world. Please enjoy and again, any typos are the
fault of the printer! ;)
