Bengaluru based Fibroheal Woundcare is the first company from India to have commercialized silk protein based wound management solutions for acute , chronic , traumatic and post operative wounds . With its promising woundcare technology derived from silk , the company is putting its unique efforts to develop innovative , low-cost medical products from silk .

Fibroheal is working on the non-textile application of silk and utilizing the byproducts of its production process . The company offers a wide range of products in different forms such as film , sheet , mesh , foam , powder , ointment , and gel to treat all types of wounds such as clean wounds , noninfected wounds , infected wounds , difficult to heal and slow or nonhealing wounds .
