Bilingual Times #1 | Page 16

In this lesson we started by setting the difference between weather and climate and we continued with the analysis of the factors (Latitude, Altitude and distance from the sea) and elements (temperature, precipitation, atmospheric pressure and wind) that affect both weather and climate.

When we return from the Christmas break we will learn about the different climatic zones and we will classify the different climate types according to their regime of precipitations and temperatures and their landscapes (vegetation, fauna, rivers, human settlements...).

We used some of this topics for the oral presentations that were delivered in the classroom as part of the term evaluation. All the students were assessed in their speaking skills and their ability to manage delivery time, content organization and audience awareness.
