The Thankful Turkey
On Thursday, Nov. 28th, we celebrated thanksgiving day.
We decorated the classroom with a turkey made of color papers. We cut a big brown circle for the body and two long yellow strides for the skinny legs. We also did a long neck and a yellow peak with a red snood. Two little black and white eyes gave him a funny look.
Then, each of us wrote a sentence of gratitude in a feather-shaped paper. We gave thanks for our life, fou our families and friends and for all the good things that happen to us.
Finally we said our petitions aloud and we posted them around the turkey's body, creating a bright and colorful tail.
