THE INTERVIEW
Sachin
Bramhe
BY BIKERS CLUB
BC: How did you start riding?
And how long have you been
riding?
SB: It actually started with
sitting in front of a table fan
holding a wooden stick as a
handle bar and my younger
sister holding my stomach.
Riding was like a basic
instinct since my childhood
right from learning to ride on
Papa's vespa to getting my
own Yamaha RX 135 on
which I've started riding on
farther places solo or with a
group of friends to Goa or
Delhi.
It was the year 2000 when I
started riding on my Yamaha,
so it's almost 19 years I am
riding on the bikes I've
owned covering at least
300,000 Kms.
BC: Why biking? What do
you mean by a biker? Are all
motorcycle riders are called
bikers? What qualities you
think a biker should have?
SB: As I've shared how I
started riding, it's like I
haven't chose riding rather
riding chose me.
A biker is a person who loves
and respects his bike, a calm
rider is always happy to help
others on road in emergency
or otherwise who hold pride
in riding not making it a cause
for his ego.
No, not everyone on a bike is a
biker. Sensibility for roads,
people and traffic rules
separates a biker from other
commuters.
As I said, calmness of mind
while on ride, sensibilities for
others, caring for others and
one should not repeat the old
mistakes happened on last
rides.
BC: How many bikes you own?
Which is your favorite bike?
Why?
SB: Currently I own and ride on
RE Himalayan, before this I have
owned Yamaha RX 135, RE
Bullet STD 350, RE Bullet
Electra 350, RE Machismo 500,
RE Thunderbird 350 and RE
Thunderbird 500.
Amongst all these bikes RE
Thunderbird 350 is my favorite;
on which I have enjoyed the
best of my ridings covering
more than 150,000 Kms.
BC: Woaaahh !!! So many RE's..
I think you are a true RE fan...
SB: Laughs....
