I could enter the temple premises, I was welcomed by a head
priest, I really don't know how he came to know about my cause
ride, probably that's the power of social network. He took me to
temple through it's backdoor entry, had a blissful darshan, and
he took me to temple's mess where we had prasad and heavy
breakfast. I touched his feet and thanked him for the hospitality
and left for the sight seeing.
I don't ride for the sake of ride and covering distances or to prove
others but I ride to explore and that's my first motto in riding. So
from Koteshwar I went to see Lakhpat fort on Day 19 then I went
to Lakhpat Gurudwara Sahib (an UNESCO heritage sight). After
darshan and the lunch in lunger I went for Bhuj which is about
135 kms, had a quick sight seeing in Bhuj and a tea snacks
headed to Adesar which is about 160 kms from there, met a
female rider Twinkle Kapdi, who's again a avid biker, spent night there at her home. It feels wonderful when we
meet another rider in a journey with whom we share a same passion.
KALO DUNGAR / RANN OF KUTCH & WHITE SAND - DAY 20
Me and Twinkle in the morning after breakfast headed for world famous sight in Kutch; Kalo dungar and Rann of
Kutch which has a white sand and very close to Pakistan border. What a blissful day.
Sometimes I wonder that why people go travel outside India wherein; we have so many places to see and
discover. You know the fact is that the foreigners who comes to India knows better than what we know here
because they know what India is but we take our country for granted, what a rich culture and history we have ! but
nobody wants to explore it.
But I am fortunate that through riding I have had explored many of the places. After seeing some wonderful
places again went back to Twinkle's house and rested for that night.
THANE - DAY 21
Form Adesar I started early in the morning and via Ahmedabad to Baroda to Surat and finally stopped at Thane
after about riding almost 550 kms, I halted at ne of the rider friend.
PUNE - DAY 22
After almost a ride of these many days, finally my journey was coming to it's end; my home in pune. With almost
about riding 150 kms I reached my home and gave a surprise to my wife, which she wasn't aware that I was
reaching one day before expected.
My East - West Ride (Kibithoo to Koteshwar) ended but not my cause. It will continue till I am riding, no
matter where, which place and routes but my "Save The Girl Child" cause will continue till the time I see
a noticeable change in peoples mind set in the country.
Thanks folks! for reading my riding experiences and a life story. "Passion comes from your hear - Live it,
you will never regret it" be it anything but remember, living your passion comes with many difficulties but
at the end it's worth it.
