A BIKER'S GUIDE TO LAOS
Based on our ride through Laos, here is a list of few things
you will need to keep in mind.
Visa on arrival for Indian and many countries. Visa costs
between US$ 30 to 40 depending on your nationality.

Few things you will need to keep
in mind in Laos
You will need a carnet for your bike.
After getting your visa, you will get your entry stamped
at immigration and your carnet will be stamped at
customs.
Right hand side drive.
The roads are good, but be careful of animals and
small bike on the road. In the North, the roads are
curvy and mountainous, and flat towards the South.
Thai Baht is accepted currency in Laos
Be ready for a lot of rice and noodle. Vegetarians may
face a little problem to communicate what vegetarian
actually means.
