THE INTERVIEW Dr. Neharika Yadav BY BIKERS CLUB BC: Who is Neharika Yadav in real life apart from a dentist and a track racer? NY: Neharika Yadav is a woman and an entrepreneur who runs her private dental clinic. She is an independent and confidant woman who works hard every single day to be a better person. She believes that her hard work made her reach this level wherever and whatever she is now today. BC: When did you start riding? NY: I started riding in 2014, when I went to the Buddh International Circuit for the first time. That was the moment of my realization; this is where I belong by looking at those racer men. However, I was invited by a friend but I could feel that motivation and inspiration inside me and the adrenaline rush from my gut made me imagine myself racing on the track with these racer men. She thoroughly believes in herself and loves challenges; she learns through her failures rather than being shattered or broken from it and stands firm on her feet. She makes sure that she learns from her experiences to become a better version of herself by each passing day. I went by my faith and the confidence and purchased my very first bike, which was a KTM RC 390, and I came back with it to race, with a borrowed leathers from my friends. I didn't know then that I would take it professionally, but its been five years since then, and I have never looked back. And I can say and believe that it's been a beautiful journey so far; each passing year is getting even more serious, professional, and passionate. She is also a family woman who loves to spend time with her family in her free time; moreover, she is homely and loves to cook. She is adventurous by nature and compassionate towards her friends and always stands by them whenever they need it. Because of her defense background, she is a disciplined and principled person that she tries to abide by it. However, being a Leo, she is hardcore from outside but soft from inside. And that's what Neharika Yadav is all about. BC: What was you trigger point? And how track racing came into your life? And in which bike category you race? NY: My trigger point that I mentioned earlier was my car accident, which changed my life and shook me inside-out. I came out as a winner and started taking my life more seriously by believing even more in my capabilities instead of having a 50% movement in my right hand after multiple surgeries.
