"Being a mother means learning, listening, reading,
laughing, loving, and living in the moment.. all while
executing the myriad details of life with aplomb." - Rana
DiOrio.
What is the
difference between a
mother and a
motherhood?
Every girl is on earth is a
mother but a new born
baby gives birth to a
motherhood. Mother is a
protection and Motherhood
is nourishment, Mother is
love and Motherhood is
authority of love. Mother is
mortal and Motherhood is
eternal. Mother is life and
Motherhood is soul.
What makes a good
mother?
It is a pertinent question
whose answers cannot be
contained within a few words.
Mothers comprise of bundle
of emotions that sometimes
defy reason. So this goes out
to all mothers who have kept
awake all night with their sick
toddlers in their arms,
constantly uttering those
compassionate words, "It's
OK honey, Mommy's here."
One cannot define a good or
bad mother. I mean mother is
mother.
Being a mother is the highest paid job in the world, since the
payment is in pure love!!
What being a mother
really means?
Being a mother means more than
having given birth to a child. It's
loving and knowing a soul before
you even see it. It's carrying and
caring for a life completely
dependant on you for survival. It's
giving air to the lungs that grew
within you, and sight to the eyes
that will never see you as anything
but mommy. It's sleepless nights,
it's nursing scratches and scrapes,
It's being stern and protective. It's
teaching them to talk, to walk and
to eventually run. It's learning to
hand your child to a stranger to let
them teach what you cannot at
times. It's bracing them for a fall,
and dusting them off after they do.
