The second entry check post is about 50 Kms before
Paro. Here again, both documents need to be stamped.
In case you miss either of the check posts or either of the
stamps on your two documents then you will have to pay
a fine of RS 1,650/-
Procedure to Exit Bhutan
At the first exit check - post located about 50 Kms after
Paro, you need to stamp only your personal permit. There
is no stamp needed on the bike permit.
At the second exit check - post located 5 Kms before
Phinsoling, bike and personal permits will be revoked for
Indian passport holders.
For all other foreign nationals, only the bike permit will
be revoked at the second exit check - post.
They must then submit their visa papers at the
immigration desk to get an exit stamp in their passports.
