BC: What made you want to ride a bike?
MYP: Bike and me, was love at first sight and
enjoyed riding very much that I travelled to most of
the places in India and later on travelled the world
on my bike.
Joined HOI (Harley Owners India) club, which is the
first private Harley club in India before the HOG was
in India, and I actually travelled most of the places in
India with them. I was the only girl in that club and
they made me a rider which I am today.
BC: How do you plan a new ride? Any basic things
you keep in your mind when you plan a new ride?
And how do you select your routes?
MYP: The most important thing in any of my ride is
my riding gears because its my life, depends where I
am going, I always have a puncture kit and some
basic tools. I try to interact with locals for the best
It just works like a
meditation for me

BC: Where you usually stay, when travelling
international?
MYP: I don't have a destination when I ride, It's sunrise
to sunset and wherever I reach I stay there, be it in
tents, hostels, hotels or houses. But yes sometimes,
when I stop riding for a day, and I don't find any proper
place to stay or to put up tents, I ride till I find some
place near petrol pump or local police station, because I
consider that to be the safest place to put up a tent. And
till now I didn't have any bad experience.
BC: Which is the most difficult country or a city which
you found tough for riding out of 64 countries where
you have rode?
MYP: I cannot particularly say about country but I say
the terrain in South America is not easy, high altitude,
and there are some villages where there is no proper
roads.. Same goes with some part of Africa.
BC: Do you ship your bike from one continent to
another?
MYP: No !! I flew them, it takes maximum 3 to 4 days
with custom clearance, and by sea it takes months. So
best is ship through air.
BC: Were you sponsored for your world ride "Ride To
Be One?"
MYP: For initial 6 months I was sponsored by the
company which I worked for 12 years but due to lack of
connectivity and internet I could not give the footage on
time to them, so for the rest of my ride I spent my own
money.
BC: What was your KICK behind "Ride To Be One?"
MYP: Travelling the world, new cultures and find out
why we are here in this world and finding myself and my
own happiness.. totally worth it.
BC: Any long distance ride are you planning?
MYP: No !! My baby is just 6 months old, and I won't go
back to riding till the time she needs me.
