KESHI GHAT
Keshi Ghat, Vrindavan is one of those peaceful places
where Lord Krishna performed childhood miracles.
Vrindavan has witnessed many dreadful yet adorable
activities of Lord Krishna and one can still feel Krishna's
essence in the sands of Vrindavan. On this beautifully
constructed ghat of Yamuna, Lord Krishna killed
demon Keshi.
BRAHMA KUND
It is believed that Brahma ji glorified Lord Krishna by
singing prayers of Brahma Samhita at this place.
Bhagwati Yogmaya gave the form of Gopi to Mahadev
Shankar by dipping him in this kund. Many prominent
saints stayed at this site and performed their Bhajans
here.
KALIDAH
Kaliya or Kalidah is the place on the banks of river
Yamuna where Lord Krishna during his childhood
subdued a poisonous serpent Kaliya Nag. This shrine
has the deities of Lord Krishna and Balram along with
Kaliya Nag. The Ghat is built in red sandstone and is
adorned with the stone images of Krishna and Kaliya
Nag.
CHANDRA SAROVAR
It is believed that Lord Brahma asked for forgiveness
through penance at the site where Chandrasarovar is
located today According to legend Lord Brahma
brought the Moon God (Chandra) with him who built
this famous Chandrasarovar and its clean and pure
waters, Brahma took a bath before he began his
penance.
RADHA BAOLI
Radha Baoli is at Rajpur village near
Vrindavan, which is the birth place of
Swami Haridas ji.
CHEER GHAT
Cheer Ghat recount the episode when Shri Krishna
stole the clothes of gopis as they bathed in the river,
and hung them on a Kadamba tree. This story has led
to the customs of women tying a piece of cloth on
the Kadamba tree at Cheer Ghat and making a wish
which they believe will be answered by Krishna.
