Day 5 | 11th June,
With the blessings of Mata Vaishnodevi, I started my
journey ahead in the early morning, I headed for
Srinagar. You know sometimes you should visit
Vaishnodevi, there is something there, I can't
explain but I was at such a comfort and peace,
actually I was spending quality time with myself,
which I never experienced all these years. People
say "Mata ka bualava hota hai toh aap waha jaa
sakte ho," I think that is the human excuse of not
getting time out of all the busy world we live in, but I
believe one must visit Vaishnodevi if get a chance.
Anyways coming back to my ride, after riding almost
300 kms, I reached Srinagar and ended my day.
Day 6 | 12th June,
You know what's the special thing about riding to
Leh-Ladakh, If you have a habit of talking to yourself
then I must say you should ride to Ladakh, coz when
you hit the mountains in Jammu-Kashmir, there is
something unique in this place and roads, it feels
like mountains are talking with you, no matter how
stressful life you are living back there home but this
will work as a detox.
From Srinagar I was on the route of Kargil, when
crossing all the mountains I was thinking one thing
that how brave our soldiers are and hats-off to our
military who fought 1999 kargil war. After almost
riding 200 kms, I ended my day, put up a tent after
my meal and went to sleep with the thought of our
brave soldiers.
Day 7 | 13th June,
After almost a week's riding today I was headed
towards Leh, with the mountain's twist and turns
and the cool breeze hitting my soul, and Mr. Rafi's
song in my head, I entered Leh with almost 200
kms ride from Kargil. Oh boy I met many riders
there from different part of the country, with
different kinds of bikes. You know the best thing
about biker is, a "biker code", doesn't matter you
know a guy or not, if he's a biker you immediately
gel and you are always welcome there, and that's
why we in bikers community call it bikers
brotherhood. I met a group who rode to Leh-
Ladakh from Delhi, That night I put up a tent with
them, and it was a time for party.
Day 8 | 14th June,
After almost a dawn we were partying, I could not
get up early, I was totally tired, so today I was in a
mood of sleep, very loose day, I still remember I
just woke up to have my meals then again went to
sleep. I think it's necessary sometimes to have
sloth day.
Day 9 | 15th June,
I joined that group for to just roam around in Leh,
and spent some quality times in buddha
monasteries and some other streets of leh.
