ISSUE 12 | DECEMBER 2019 BC: What's your point of view about riders and riders community in India? Especially the Riding Clubs? NN: I haven't rode with any clubs till yet so can't say about riding clubs. It must be very interesting and hope their brotherhood always remains intact. There are hundreds of riding clubs in India but I wish there should be a single platform or one club to keep everyone united without any grudges or politics and help each other with pure heart. BC: THAT'S WHAT "BIKERS CLUB" is doing and aiming for with it's bikers club app and magazine !! Hope to see all of them in our platform and network !! NN: I know that and that's very amazing work you guys are doing, and hopefully 'BIKERS CLUB' will achieve it soon. BC: THANK YOU NIRMALI !! BC: What do you think about professional racers and stunt riders? NN: I am not into it at all so can't say much but that's really a different field. I wish they consider safety as priority always in their specified track. BC: Do you think because of social media, many people have started riding, just for an instant fame? Or you really think riding motorcycles is becoming a passion nowadays? NN: Yes it's true. The real riding is fading now, everyone is in competition for name and fame. we have more posers that real riders. I follow many overseas riders who doesn't have much followers but you can learn many things from them. They are not into fame but on exploring places and travelling. BC: We have noticed that there are bikers who are very famous in social media with less riders whereas, there are many others who have roamed entire world on motorcycle but nobody knows them, what do you have to say about this scenario? NN: That's where the real quality is. The people who really travel are more humble. These likes, subscribers on social media doesn't matter to them and they are least bother about it, but to them travel stories & memories which they create for themselves matters a lot. I met many riders and travellers like this, and I am following and learning from them who are not riding for any awards, records or fame but for themselves. BC: What you have to say about wanna-be riders? Have you come across any? NN: Yes, I meet many riders who want guidance and tips and I happily encourage BIKERS CLUB ® | MAGAZINE | PAGE 16 them to be determined to fulfil their dreams in a positive way. If they are really passionate about it then they will going to achieve it. BC: What's the difference between a real rider and a wanna-be rider? NN: Real riders are determined and they know what they want to do. and if someone wants to be a rider and travel then we should encourage them. Rest is upon them, how they make it? It's all about your passion and determination. We should guide them in a positive way. BC: What's the difference between a real rider and a commuter, as they both ride motorcycles? NN: Commuter knows his / her destination, whereas, a real rider doesn't bother about the destination. He loves the road and his rides and keeps on moving. He / She does not feel stranger wherever he / she goes. BC: Do you own or have any riding club? If yes then tell us about it, when and how it started? Or are you a part of any riding clubs? NN: I belong to BikePack Traveller which consists of only two riders who loves to travel solo and now riding together. This is the platform for bikers and travellers who wander around with bikes as a medium to travel. Every bikepacker has an opportunity on this platform to share their own journey and inspire others to paint their own adventures. This is the place to tell people that bikers don't just ride with bike but with their souls ! www.bikepacktraveller.com BC: What do you have to say about riding club politics? NN: I am far away from it. BC: What you have to say about a very famous term amongst the bikers, which is 'Bikers Brotherhood / Sisterhood?' Do you believe in it? NN: Yes, brotherhood exists. I have so many friends all over the world. If they knows that I am coming to their places, they invite me to their home and treat me as their family member. When I met with the accident and I was in Vadodara for my operation, so many riders came to meet me, they brought food for me, they donated blood without knowing me. This is brotherhood only ! Negative things are there but I better focus on positive things. BC: That's really amazing !!!
