THE INTERVIEW
Nirmali Nath
BY BIKERS CLUB
BC: Life before riding and life
after riding, Tell us about you
as a rider?
NN: I've always believed that I
was not born for one corner. I
have always wanted to travel
but I never knew what my
path would be or where it
would lead me till I bought
my own bike. I can still recall
how happy I was on the day I
welcomed my RE Classic 350
into my home and life. Now I
am happy because I am living
my passion and my dream
with no regrets and
compromises.
BC: How did you start riding?
And how long have you been
riding?
NN: I started riding in 2014
when I bought my first
machine. It took me 11 long
years to settle down in order
to fulfil my dreams. I consider
working with Titan Company
was one of the best decision
of my life that helped me to
earn some good money,
that's the reason I could go
after my dreams and bought
my motorcycle. Since then it
all started.
BC: Why biking? What do
you mean by a biker? are all
motorcycle riders called
bikers? What qualities you
think a biker should have?
NN: Coz biking makes me
happy and it takes me to
places where no flight and
train can go. It gives me pure
sensation of freedom. And
Why I ride? - Just for
happiness which get from it.
And it's very subjective,
different people different
meanings of happiness but for
me it's riding.
When I ride, I get the cocktail
feeling of happiness & freedom .
It's the sense of freedom which
is utmost important.
If you don't feel the wind on
your face, if your heart doesn't
beat when you throttle, if it
doesn't give you the sense of
freedom and if you don't feel
like to see the beautiful &
colourful world on your
motorcycle then you are just a
commuter on bike. I think &
suppose every passionate biker
will agree with me.
And also being a biker you
should be discipline,
responsible, humble and should
have the passion for travelling.
BC: How many bikes you own?
Which is your favourite bike?
And why? Have you named
them?
NN: My first bike is RE Classic
350 whom I have named
'WANDERBUG.' I have travelled
all India on it with no major
breakdowns and covered almost
72K kms on it.
My second bike is RE Himalayan
whom I call 'PANDA.' Till now it
has covered the toughest and
most difficult terrains without a
single breakdown and I have
covered almost 18K kms on it.
