I saw lots of lights in that town, after
like 4 to 5 hours of riding in
darkness.. I sighed with deep relief
and said.. "Thank God I am safe
now.." Believe me last 3 hours of
my riding with shaky bike brought
shit out of me.. I was damn scared.. Wanderers and Unido (Sachin dada
is the founder member of Unido
Nagpur) gels well club wise..
I checked in to some cheap hotel
and straight away rammed in to the
bathroom, got fresh, now what..
was damn hungry, straight away to
the restaurant, ordered Dal
Khichdi.. I told him my entire experience of this
scary shit.. he listened to me carefully
and laughed after I finished telling my
experience.. I told him that I am
quitting this trip and going back
tomorrow to Hyderabad in whichever
transport I will get..
I called up my wife, and talked
about half n hour to relief myself..
Finally I started to becoming calm..
but I thought of ending my trip was
firmed.. I didn't tell this experience
to my wife but I had to share this to
some one, but who?
I decided to call my riding idol Mr
Sachin Bramhe in Nagpur (I met
him once before and I knew he is
the legend in biking), I was pretty
sure that he would help me to calm
myself.. although I didn't know him
so well but we exchanged our
numbers when we met last year in
some bike event, without knowing
he would pick my call or not at this
late but he picked up.. To my shock
he said..
"Hello praveen bhai.. kaise yaad
kiya.." aap ko yaad hu mai.. I
replied..
He said " Praveen from Wanderers
Hyderabad.. right"
"Dada you remembered me.. so nice
of you" I replied.. He said.. "How can
I help you"
"YOU ARE A BIKER PRAVEEN AND
A TRUE BIKER ALWAYS FINISHES
HIS RIDE" don't give up on this
experience.. and believe me when
you will be home after finishing this
trip, you will have a great story to tell
to your fellow riders and if you won't
complete this trip then you gonna
regret it entire your life.. BIKER
NEVER QUITS..
This was his words.. also he added,
calm yourself, go to sleep and don't
put any alarms, wake up in the
morning when your body wakes up
up.. with fresh mind, and heavy break
fast go to bike shop repair your bike
and travel to Araku Valley, I will be in
constant touch with you..
Remember "ONCE A RIDER
ALWAYS A RIDER" and "SHIT
HAPPENS ON THE ROAD".. and
"THAT'S THE BEST PART IN
RIDING."
A RIDER WITHOUT SHITTY
EXPERIENCE ON THE ROAD IS
NOT A RIDER" now with this
experience you have turned in to a
real biker, till now you were just a
rider but not the Biker. So have
courage and go for it.
The words of Sachin Dada gave
me some solace.. I thanked him
and went to sleep.. with some
dilemma..
I woke up at 7:45 am in the
morning and to my shock I was
feeling all energised and fresh, all
my dilemma was gone, I was very
clear and decided to continue my
ride to Araku Valley.. Got freshen
up and ready after some poha and
paratha stuffs with some caffeine in
my body through a cup of hot
coffee.. I checked out and started
shaurya..
To my surprise Shaurya wasn't
shaking at all but still I had to
checked him up before I hit the
roads to Araku valley.
I went to service center, checked
him up, all clear.. to my surprise
there was no puncture at all and
shock ups also were good.. service
center guys told me there was
nothing wrong with the bike..
I still fail to understand what was
happening to shaurya that night.
May be my angels didn't want me
to ride to Araku Valley that night.
